ELLE BLATTNER
Lisa T. C. Blattner, Esq. brings her considerable skills, passion, and excellence in the areas of probate litigation, probate administration, and general civil litigation.
EDUCATION
Ms. Blattner is a Colorado native who grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. Ms. Blattner attended the University of Colorado at Denver where she received her B.S. in Business/Finance, cum laude. Pursuing her strong desire to practice law, Lisa attended the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law from which she received her Juris Doctorate in 2009. Exhibiting an early aptitude in the area, during her second year of law school Ms. Blattner received the Scholastic Excellence Award in the area of Trust and Estates indicating the highest grade in the class amongst her peers.
CAREER
Ms. Blattner has been actively involved in the general and legal community throughout her legal career and has received a number of awards and accolades for her community involvement and legal skills. Ms. Blattner is an active member of both the Colorado Bar Association and the El Paso County Bar Association and their associated specialized chapters. Ms. Blattner has been recognized by the El Paso County Bar as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year in 2012 for her significant contributions to the Legal Profession and the Community, as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016 by the Southern Colorado Better Business Bureau, as the chair of the Probate Section of El Paso County from 2017-2018, as 2018 Top Lawyers in Colorado Springs in the area of Guardianship, as 2018 Top Ten Ranking Attorneys Under 40 with the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, and a finalist for Business Person of the Year in Southern Colorado.
Ms. Blattner has professionally presented to other legal professionals on a variety of topics over the years, including Adult Domestic Relations Cases in light of In re. Marriage of Sorensen, legal capacity in the context of guardianships/conservatorships and powers of attorney, and basic skills on using insurance in estate planning.
In her free time, Lisa is an active culinary enthusiast, and has previously worked as a Sous Chef at the renowned Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colorado and is the Secretary of the Board for the Southern Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce.
Director of Operations
LC has a BA, MA, and CSP from UCD. She brings a unique specialty to the firm, to assist with understanding and increasing communication with our clients and their needs.
She is specialized for the past 16 years in psychiatric and capacity assessments. She worked in ER's and Hospitals resulting in either outpatient referrals for treatment or inpatient psychiatric and/or chemical dependency admissions to local facilities.
Her targeted population of work and study included elderly, adults, adolescents and children. For the past 3 years her focus has been elderly care management, and she has recently relocated to Colorado.
